Alfonso Ribeiro is a $10.00 "Producer" on The 1 Second Film (2007). You can get yourself listed as an Associate Producer, Producer, or Executive Producer. The film is, as its title implies, 1 second long (24 frames of animation) with 90 minutes of end credits (a Making Of documentary will run alongside the credits). The film is being financed entirely by donations, with all proceeds going to the Global Fund for Women. It will have a one-time theatrical screening in 2007, and will eventually be released on DVD. As you can see from those websites, this isn't a scam. In fact, several celebrities have already donated money to be listed in the credits. Most of them didn't even donate "big bucks." Because you will be listed in the credits of an authentic motion picture, you would be eligible to be included in the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). (Your eligibility starts as soon as the 1 Second Film folks add you to the list on the website, you don't have to wait until the film is released next year.) Inclusion into the IMDB is entirely optional. It is not part of the donation/credit, but is instead an added bonus. It can take several months for you to be added to the IMDB.
